You've probably already noticed
Planning Albania isn't like planning Italy.
The hotels are hard to judge from a distance.
Booking.com has hundreds of listings but the photos are misleading, the reviews are sparse, and you can’t tell which place is charming and which one is just cheap. We’ve been to the ones worth staying at.
Getting around takes more planning than you’d think.
Google Maps says 4 hours, the road takes 6. The ferry schedule isn’t online. The car rental handoff is confusing. We deal with this every week — we’ll map it out so you don’t have to guess.
You’re stitching together 15 blog posts and still not sure.
Everyone recommends a slightly different route and none of them explain what it actually costs. We’ll give you one clear plan with real pricing — no research rabbit holes.
If something changes mid-trip, you need someone here.
A road closure, a ferry cancellation, a hotel that doesn’t match the photos. We’re in Albania — we can make a call and fix it the same day.

Who's behind this
Most people don't know where Albania is. Let alone how to get around once they're here. I grew up in Tirana, and I started AlbaniaVisit.com in 2021 to fix that. Since then, we've helped hundreds of travelers figure out which hotels are actually worth it, which routes make sense, and what to skip. When you fill out the form below, my team and I build you a real plan — specific properties, actual pricing, a route that works. If something doesn't fit, we change it.

Common Questions
If yours isn't here, just ask — info@albaniavisit.com
Every trip is different — pricing depends on accommodation level, group size, season, and activities. To give you a rough idea: a week-long trip for a couple usually runs €2,800–€5,000 total (roughly $3,000–$5,500), while a group of 6–8 sharing accommodations and transfers can range from €5,500–€9,000 total ($6,000–$10,000). Proposals are quoted in EUR since all ground services are priced in euros. We'll give you exact numbers in your custom proposal.
We recommend at least 6–8 weeks for peak season (June–September) and 3–4 weeks for shoulder season. That said, we've pulled off great trips with less notice — just tell us your dates and we'll be honest about what's possible.
Everything on the ground: boutique accommodations, private transfers, car rentals, guided activities, ferry bookings, a local SIM card, a custom roadbook, and 24/7 on-the-ground support. You handle your flights — we handle Albania.
Absolutely. The first proposal is a starting point. Want to swap a beach day for a vineyard tour? Extend your stay in Berat? We'll adjust until it's exactly right.
US, Canadian, UK, and EU citizens don't need a visa — you can stay up to a year with just a valid passport. Most other nationalities can apply for an e-visa online. We'll flag any visa requirements when we see your passport country in the form.
May through October. June and September are the sweet spot — warm enough for beaches, not as crowded or expensive as July–August. Shoulder season (April, October) is great for culture-focused trips without the heat.
Yes. Albania is one of the safest countries in the Mediterranean for travelers. The US State Department rates it the same as France and Italy. We plan trips for families with young kids, solo travelers, and couples — no one's had an issue.
You pay AlbaniaVisit one price — we coordinate and pay all suppliers on your behalf. No juggling multiple bookings, no surprise charges on the ground.
