Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

AlbaniaVisit is operated by Ronin Holdings LLC, a Texas (US) limited liability company (“AlbaniaVisit,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use albaniavisit.com and go.albaniavisit.com, request a trip plan, book a trip or experience, or use a trip page we build for you — and what we do with it.

We plan real trips, so we handle real personal information, including passport details. We take that seriously. The short version: we collect what's needed to plan and operate your trip, we share it only with the people who deliver your trip, we never sell it, and you can ask us what we hold or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing privacy@albaniavisit.com.

What we collect

  • When you inquire or request a plan: your name, email, travel dates, group size, budget range, interests, and anything you write in the form or in emails with us.
  • When you book a trip:for each traveler — full name, date of birth, phone number, and where border crossings, ferries, or hotels require it, passport number, nationality, and expiry date. For groups, rooming preferences. Arrival flight numbers and times.
  • When you pay: payments are processed by Stripe (cards) or received by bank transfer via Wise. We never see or store card numbers. We keep records of amounts, dates, invoices, and payment references.
  • When you use a trip page: trip pages are private, code-gated pages. We log page views so we know your documents reached you. If you use the shared photo album, we store the photos you and your group upload (see the trip-page terms in our Terms of Service).
  • When you email us: correspondence and attachments are retained in our systems so your trip history is in one place.
  • Automatically: basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and to run the site.

How we use it

  • To design, quote, book, and operate your trip or experience — this is the core of it.
  • To make required bookings on your behalf: we pass traveler names and, where required, passport details to the local suppliers who deliver your services (hotels, transport, ferries, activity operators). We share the minimum each booking needs, under a booking reference.
  • To process payments, send invoices and confirmations, and meet accounting and tax obligations.
  • To respond to you and send trip-related messages. If you asked for a quote, we may follow up about it. We don't send bulk marketing to travelers.
  • To run our operations. We use AI tools internally (including Anthropic's Claude) to help draft itineraries and manage trip logistics; these providers are bound by data processing agreements and do not use your information to train publicly available models.

Who we share it with

  • Trip suppliers— the local companies that deliver your booked services receive the traveler details those bookings require. Nothing more, and never your payment details.
  • Travel advisors— if you booked through a travel advisor, we exchange trip information with them as needed to serve you.
  • Service providers that run our systems: Stripe (payments), Wise (bank transfers), Convex and Vercel (hosting/database), Clerk (authentication), Google Workspace (email and document storage), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic and Google (AI processing), Cloudflare (site infrastructure).
  • Legal/safety: if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of travelers or others.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Where it's stored, and for how long

Our systems are hosted in the United States. If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your information is transferred to the US under recognized safeguards: Stripe, Google, Vercel, and Clerk participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension); our other providers are bound by data processing agreements incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses. Payments handled by Wise for European clients are processed by Wise's EU-regulated entity.

  • Trip, booking, invoice, and payment records: retained 7 years for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
  • Passport details: deleted or redacted within 12 months after your trip ends. They exist only to make your bookings.
  • Photo albums: retained while the trip page stays live; any photo is deleted on request by a person appearing in it.
  • Inquiries that never became trips: deleted after 24 months of inactivity.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email privacy@albaniavisit.com to: get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, delete it (except records we must keep by law), or object to a use of it. We answer within 30 days. If you're in the EEA or UK, these are your rights under the GDPR and you may also complain to your local supervisory authority. California residents may exercise equivalent rights; we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as California law defines those terms.

Children

Travelers under 18 are booked by a parent, guardian, or group organizer — we collect minors' details only from the responsible adult, only as bookings require, and never directly from children.

Changes

We'll post updates here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes affecting an active booking will be emailed to the booking contact.
